With a Bachelor's degree in Translation and Linguistics from University of Montreal and a university degree in French teaching as a Second Language, I am passionate about languages. This thirst for words led me to pursue a DEC in languages in order to perfect my French and English and discover two other languages, including German. I am a polyglot. I am fluent in 5 languages, including French, English, Punjabi, Urdu and Hindi. With several years of experience in the field of translation and interpreting, I have the necessary skills to faithfully and rigorously express in the requested language what has been said or written in the target language. Interpreting
I interpret from French or English into Punjabi, Urdu and Hindi. I offer different forms of interpretation: simultaneous (at the same time as the speaker), consecutive (after the speaker has spoken), chuchotage (in a low voice, as you go along).
An overview of the tasks:
- Convey orally as accurately as possible the content of the message.
- Understand the message and use the right words to ensure that it is conveyed in the target language.
- Remain neutral and professional at all times.
- Keep all client information confidential.
Certified translation
In Quebec, OTTIAQ-certified members are the only ones who can provide a certified translation. The certified translation has three essential elements that attest to its authenticity and these are present on every page. The first is the official seal of the translator, which includes the name and the logo of the Order, also the name of the translator and membership number of the certified translator.
